Saturday October 26 and Thursday, October 31, Old Pas stores open their doors for a spooktacular Halloween full of free fun. Kids can decorate pumpkins, go store-to-store trick-or-treating, meet and greet costumed characters, get free “haunted” photos and go on a safe, lights-on, bargain tour of the Old Pasadena haunted house. Plus there’s outdoor movies: “Hotel Transylvania” and “Beetlejuice,” and that’s just for starters!

The Old Pasadena Halloween Celebration is a creation of the Old Pasadena Management District and One Colorado in partnership with the Old Town Haunt and over a hundred Old Pasadena merchants. This is more than merely an organized mall promotion; it is a tight-knit community of independent businesses working together to give back to their neighbors, family and friends. The reason Old Pasadena has that friendly small town feel is because that is exactly what it is. PADV is proud to be a part of it.

Elisa B. celebrates all fashion, even young Michael Jackson’s and pretty purple fairies’.

It all begins Saturday, October 26 from 10am to 12pm in the One Colorado Courtyard with free Halloween pumpkin decorating.  Children are invited to create their very own Halloween Jack-O-Lantern.  The pumpkins are available on a first-come-first-serve basis, with all creations going home with their creators.  The fun continues with a special lights-on and kid-friendly haunted house at the famed Old Town Haunt from 12pm-4pm ($10).

On Halloween eve, Thursday, October 31 over 100 stores and restaurants in Old Pasadena open their doors for free store-to-store trick-or-treating, making Old Pasadena one of the largest civic trick-or-treating destinations in Southern California. The fun begins at 5pm when merchants supply a variety of candy and confections for all the dressed up little ones in attendance.

Our Old Pasadena guides will be handing out fun little Halloween eggs filled with unique prizes and candy. One Colorado is featuring free haunted professional photos in the courtyard against a Halloween themed background and hundreds of pumpkins.  One Colorado also hosts out-door screenings of the popular kids’ movie, “Hotel Transylvania” at 6pm and Tim Burton’s animated feature “Beetlejuice” at 8 pm.  Throughout the celebration, guests can enjoy a unique opportunity to meet and greet with various popular Halloween costumed characters along Colorado Blvd.
