MAKE MUSIC PASADENA ROCKS IT AGAIN

It’s back. On June 6th, Make Music Pasadena 2015 rocks out on the main stage right outside our front Door, at the corner of Arroyo Parkway and Colorado Boulevard in Old Pasadena, and naturally, you’re invited. The party starts at 11:00 am and goes on all day all over Pasadena.

A group of Make Music Pasadena volunteers give a hearty cheer to their event.

PADV Pasadena Advertising has been active in Old Pasadena since it’s skid row days when we joined forces with the Pasadena Central Improvement Association. Not unsurprisingly we have been involved with Make Music Pasadena since it’s origins in the 2008 Fête de la Musique in Old Pasadena. Since that time, we’ve helped Make Music Pasadena remain a major event throughout the city.

This year you can stroll from stage to stage, and discover all the distinctive neighborhood shops that can only be found “Off Colorado.” Last year, Steve Mulheim, Janet Swartz and the OPMD board used the input from our merchants and made Off Colorado shops an integral part of the success of Make Music Pasadena. Now our visitors can discover merchants, cafes and restaurants all over town. This year the main stages are on Colorado Blvd, the Levitt Pavilion and the Armory Center for the Arts. Additionally, there are more than a dozen stages down streets and alleyways, and in shops and restaurants, which will allow individual business owners to welcome more shoppers into their stores.

With so many stages, all over town, no matter which way crowds turn they are headed toward music. This year, added merchant participation means visitors will be able to discover more of the one of a kind Off Colorado shops that put Old Pasadena in a class by itself. It’s a collaboration everyone can profit from, including our visitors who’ll discover the secrets of Old Pas, Off Colorado.

Save the date. Listen to music all over town. Join in the biggest free Music Festival in the West. Make a day of it at Make Music Pasadena, Saturday, June 6, 11:00 am to 11:00 pm.
